Adaptive On-screen Keyboard
A smart on-screen keyboard (OSK) that adapts to and grows with the user. Keyboard size, position, and type adjusts to wherever user places their hands in typing position on the lower half (for folding display devices) or the bottom display (for dual-screen devices). Sound and haptic feedback helps guide, reminds users of where to put their fingers, and suggests re-aligning their hands if the position is too far off from the starting position. With advanced settings active, location, scale, and shape of keys adjusts over the course of typing (can turn this option on/off).
In the example video above, the OSK initiates when User 1 places their fingers at a certain distance and relation to each other on the lower half of the folding display. When User 2 places their hands closer together on the display, the adaptive OSK responds, creating a smaller on-screen footprint. When User 3 places one hand on the display using a special gesture, a special "mobile-influenced" swipe-style keyboard appears.
